Betzalel's Bit

This page is going to be all about Betzalel. He is doing very well at the moment; learning to speak Hebrew very fast. He has lots of friends, in particular, he loves to play with his friend Moshe. Betzalel loves to eat pizza with a pineapple topping!!! He wants to be a robot when he grows up. And he practices every day."I...am...a...robot."

Betzalel Finishes his Hebrew course

Betzalel's 10 session long Hebrew course at the libaray has now been completed. His teacher felt that all her aims had been achived. Betzael tend to throw hebrew sentances into his play around the house, he has made Hebrew only speaking friends and his Gannenot seem very please with him. Well done Betzalel Keep up the good work.

Ash comes for Supper

Batman no longer comes for supper instead we have another strange visitor called Ash-Ash is Pekachu's owner and Pekachu is a Pokemon. (If you are the wiser now about who Ash is then great, if not; I wouldn't worry about it.) When something naughty happens like Daphna getting hit/nugged/kicked or food falling on the floor, Ash tells us that Betzalel came back did the deed and then went again and now it is just Ash here. Although I think that Betzalel seems to be a naughty boy I do miss him and really wish he would come back. Not just to do naughty things either. Ash has been going to Betzalel's Hebrew classes and doing very well there, he even does Betzalels' homework for him. Even so I do miss Betzalel.

Batman Comes for Supper

Last night, the Ghedini house hold had a most unexpected visiter for super, he bore a passing resembalance to Betzalel, but anounced on sitting down, I am not Betzalel I'm Batman, the man wore a black cloak and a grey suit, on which a large six pack could clearly be seen, and the unmistakable emblem of a bat. Everytime Mummy said "What would you like to eat Betzalel?" The man said, "I am not Betzalel I am Batman". The man tried to call Mummy by her first name but was told that Mummy is Batmans Mummy too. When it came to pyjama time, Batman was told to find Betzalel -rescue him and get him into his pyjamas. He must have done that because about five minuites later Betzalel appeared, who had until now been conspicuous by his absence, dressed fully in his rocket ship pyjamas. He then claimed that he was actually Batman and that he had been pretending and that he had been with the family all the time. This claim has yet to be confirmed.- Batman could not be located to comment on the events.

Betzalel has his Gan Chunukah party

Last night Betzalel had a Chunukah party at gan. he had a really good time danceing and seeing his friends. It was a bit strange seeing them at night, and being in gan in the dark. Betzalel dressed as a Maccabee, and marched around with the other boys. And they rebuilt the Beit Hamikdash. Betzalel put in his own block. They lit the Chunukiyah, and then we all ate.... guess what? DOUGHNUTS Have a look at Betzalel's Chunukah party photos. On shutterfly.

Betzalel Has his Third Hebrew class at The Library

Oriel, Betzalel, Daphna and Mummy took their weekly trip to the library. This week Betzalel played with play-doh, he made a blue "Chilazon" (snail in Hebrew.) We took out a new book in Hebrew for him to read roughly translated means "Are we there yet?" about the Tibbles family, we already have a book in English about the Tibbles family, a family of cats, so we are looking forward to reading that one. Oriel took out "Fox in Socks" which we started reading last night. And we got out another book an Atlas of animals, David has yet to finish his PD James book. While we were there Daphna and Mummy read a hard back book about Chunukah.

Gannenette Tells Mummy how well Betzalel is Coming On

At the end of gan, when Mummy goes to pick up Betzalel, the gannette often tells Mummy what he has been up to during the day. Yesterday she told how well he had been sitting, with his arms folded like a pretzel. He earned the treat that had been offered. And all the class affirmed that he had sat still and had been good.

Betzalel is Potty Trained

Betzalel is in the very last stages of being toilet trained. He has not had more than one accident in well over a month now. He wears underwear in bed all that is left is to stop needing that marshmellow when he has finished. We have started giving cup cakes and cookies instead and at the end of the day instead of imediatly after. He has nearly forgotten that he ought to be getting a marshmellow or a toffee.
